I am a PhD candidate from the Vanderbilt University Department of Economics. My current work focuses on the interaction between humans and their natural and built surroundings. For instance, I study how tree cover affects the urban environment and how that affects the health outcomes of people living there, and how the environment is affected by regulation (whether or not the regulation is primarily targeted at local environmental quality).
I am also interested in applied econometrics; for instance, in the econometrics of network data.
